Finally, an entire day with no medical or clinic appointments. It’s such a relief to be able to take it easy a bit.
Of course, there are plenty of pills for me to organize and take every morning and evening just to keep me out of mischief. I really appreciate how my Dad organized all my mom’s pills every day. Her pills changed almost every day. The nurse in Milwaukee would call me in the morning, review and update mom’s pills, then I’d call my Dad and let him reorganize mom’s pills for the day. He was a real trooper!
My neutrophil count (white blood cells) is pretty low, but they’re expecting that from the CAR-T procedure.
Eva and I managed a 30 minute walk around the nearby shops just to get outdoors. HEPA mask always on, and my walker always nearby. I’ll be curious to see how my ongoing efforts to hydrate hydrate hydrate as well as injecting myself with a neupogen shot show up in tomorrow’s lab results. My appetite continues to slowly improve. Small portions and cautious experimentation with food. Karla and company continue to supply us with meals, so we’re well set for now.
